And you can still TEXT!!! You can look at the screen to text but not at the road to talk on the cell. What numbnut came up with that?

And whats with towing that big GFBL with that? Is that one of those Porsche SUV thingies? Canyon or Cayanne or something like that?

I think it's the nissan/infiniti wanna-be SUV???

Whatever it is, it shouldn't be towing that boat!

Let me guess-

He's trying to "save fuel"...

That'll be a CVT - izzat any good for towing? Looks like a tail-wag-dog situation to me. Scary.

I wonder what the legalities are of towing a trailer that is too heavy for your vehicle?

They are not usually enforced TEG. But if you were to have an accident, it would be brought up then.

That's not a Nissan Murano, it's an Infinity FX. While they may look similar they are quite different.

Murano is a FWD/AWD with the CVT which would likely melt in this situation.

FX is RWD/AWD with a 5 speed auto. Better than a Murano, but still not enough to be towing that boat.

The Murano is a much better looking vehicle than that Infinity thing.

Much better looking than that is still pretty goofy looking. I noticed 5 Muranos while out and about today and realized they weren't what was in this picture. But they are still plenty ugly.
So what is the tow rating on that Infinity?

what is the tow hitch mounted to? the unibody frame?

i wouldn't guess that U-Haul mounted a class-4 hitch to that vehicle

Kill someone while doing it and you'll be joining the other po' folks in bankruptcy court...

A citation would be just the beginning.

A good [censored]-slapping should be next...

At first I was gonna say I saw that one also, but then, I realized what I saw was a travel trailer behind one of those things. nono

I've been on pain meds for the past three days, I couldn't remember that far back at first.. idn And yeah the front end looked like the one in the pic also.

There are a lot of people with more money than brains. I've seen some fairly decent sized boats behind things like BMW X5s, Porche Cayanne's etc. I just steer clear and get away from them as soon as I can.

Yeah, it can get scary out there.

When we were up at Tahoe, there was a guy in an Acura MDX (Honda Pilot) trying to pull his 19' Bayliner out of the water at the Camp Richardson ramp. It wouldn't budge. The tires wouldn't/couldn't even spin.

To his credit, the ramp was a combo of concrete and beach sand, but certainly do-able in a true tow vehicle.

After being entertained for about a half an hour, a guy in a Dodge 4X4 with the Hemi showed up and pulled BOTH the Acura and the (still hooked up) Bayliner out with ease.

It's amazing what a truly designed tow vehicle can do...
