"I wonder what the legalities are of towing a trailer that is too heavy for your vehicle?"

Kill someone while doing it and you'll be joining the other po' folks in bankruptcy court...

A citation would be just the beginning.

A good [censored]-slapping should be next...

ouch

At first I was gonna say I saw that one also, but then, I realized what I saw was a travel trailer behind one of those things. nono

I've been on pain meds for the past three days, I couldn't remember that far back at first.. idn And yeah the front end looked like the one in the pic also.

There are a lot of people with more money than brains. I've seen some fairly decent sized boats behind things like BMW X5s, Porche Cayanne's etc. I just steer clear and get away from them as soon as I can.

Yeah, it can get scary out there.

When we were up at Tahoe, there was a guy in an Acura MDX (Honda Pilot) trying to pull his 19' Bayliner out of the water at the Camp Richardson ramp. It wouldn't budge. The tires wouldn't/couldn't even spin.

To his credit, the ramp was a combo of concrete and beach sand, but certainly do-able in a true tow vehicle.

After being entertained for about a half an hour, a guy in a Dodge 4X4 with the Hemi showed up and pulled BOTH the Acura and the (still hooked up) Bayliner out with ease.

It's amazing what a truly designed tow vehicle can do...
