Some more thoughts, we enjoyed the lake and the ability to do some long cruising. It is amazing that as the lake "S" up to the concrete structure that holds the water in, that some stretches are smooth as glass and then you turn the corner and there are 2' chop.
I think I shared with some, but on Saturday pulling the boat out, Waywego was at the ramp getting his truck. OHA drops me off so I can get the truck. A Dodge Ram 3500 diesel hauls out 2 jet skis, Waywego hauls out his boat using a F350, the guy a head of me is sitting in a Titan and made some small chat with him. He said to me that people don't know this, but the ramp is wide enough for 2 and look at this guy (pointing to Waywego) taking the whole ramp.
Well, Waywego did that on purpose because this guy had a Titan with a Regal 26?? Cuddy behind it. I wished I had my camera but that was in the boat. When the guy backed into the water, the ramp was pretty wet, once he put the brakes on, the front tires kept skidding until the boat started to float. It was a good thing he remembered to take the stern straps off. I think my heart skipped a beat and the first thing that came to my mind is, we will have to find another ramp to get our boat out.
