We're planning a 3 day weekend cruise across the lake to New Buffalo for August 29th-31st. It will be myself and the admiral in our boat and 2 of my harbor neighbors in their boats. Probably 8 total people. Is there anything in New Buffalo that you should see/do? Right now one of my neighbors is booking the transient slips but other then that we have no plans.

Any suggestions would be appreciated? Also if any of you Michigan boaters want to meet up shoot me a PM.

Tip 1: Stay away from the Toledo Beach-East boat dealership.

Last time I went in there, I bought a boat (our current boat came from there).

Otherwise, its not a very large town.

Not really any "must do's" in that town. The marina, beach and Four Winds Casino is about it. Oh...... they do have a Wendy's.

You might want to stop in at Toledo Beach, they may not be in business this time next year.

Alrighty then, perhaps we should head a little further north.

I would head to St.Joe, South Haven or Saugatuck preferably.
