Found this on craigs list today and bought it.
http://wichita.craigslist.org/car/774428783.html

I have been towing my boat with the wifes S10 Blazer and have been limited on my towing abilities. The guy was about 0.2 miles from my house. Lucky find with good timing.

What do you guys think?

Nice! Sounds like a great deal!
The valve assembly or pump, might cost ya 300-400 new. Which is the way I would go.

Interesting. Well it definitely was cheap enough. Have you towed yet? Don't expect much more power than the Blazer has. Both engines actually produce about the same amount of power.

Have you towed yet? It should be much more stable!

Have not towed yet. Just got it about two hours ago and boat and trailer are out at the lake.

I am looking for stability and load capacity on this tow vehicle. The Blazer seams to sway quite a bite with our wind while towing.

Nice to see an honest ad on CL! I didn't realize what a cesspool of scam it's become until I car shopped recently.

I also thought that it was kind of a fluke that it was someone that was just down the street from me.

After weeks of living on CL, cars.com, etc., we wound up buying one from a guy who lives a mile away. And, we got a possible line on the next used car when the need comes, because he buys them from his employer as 1-owner fleet cars. Local is SO much better.

At that price, well worth picking up as an extra vehicle for towing and hauling. Congrats!

I've seen a lot of soccermobiles setting around in peoples' yards as of recent. Big fire sale on the big SUVs.
Good find, BTW, and I hope it works well for you.
