Maybe I need another place to mount the flag using that mount and pole?

Heft one first - if its love, like it was for me - then make it work.

It's a top shelf item, I really do not know. Its selling like hot cakes, though.

Nice! I would like this mount for my boat so it would be flush when not in use.

Hotbyte, I used that mount for mine and love it. Drilling hole at the correct angle was tricky but it looks and works great. I have a 1" acrylic rod that I use as a flagpole and secure it into the base with a 7/8" o ring. It will not come out unless you pull it out. I think it was around $25 for the mount.

Deepv -

I have the same issue with my flag pole... I have a flag where the anchor light pole is supposed to go, but the rope wraps around it when attached to the tower. I actually tore it up last weekend putting a tube on the back of the boat, so I'm definitely in the market now for a tower mounted flag. I saw one on the lake last weekend, but I didn't get close enough to see the mount. It might just have been zip tied up there, which is something I'm considering until I can find a good mount.

My boat had a teak flag pole but a strong wind blew the bimini frame apart and it broke the staff. I got a new wooden one from defender for $3.00. It was on clearance. Yea, I'll get the stainless pole one day.
