And, you might be surprised at the number of military folks who are not ardent Bush supporters.
I have quite a few good friends and boaters in the active and retired military (besides the group of hardened war-seasoned NAM era vets that sit in my backyard quite often that I spoke of earlier) who feel that Bush is dangerous. The torture issues are HUGE with them. Many of them do not speak out openly because they have security clearances that they have been told will be jeopardized if they get caught with any anti-war/administration editorials tied to their name. Maybe they are just lying to me.....I dunno.....

There is an increasing number of Veterens organizations against the administrations policys as well. I was raised an Army brat- went all over the world as a kid. My dad (GRHS) was a 30 year NCO (Command Sergeant Major stationed at NORAD in Chyenne Mt in Colorado Springs) and my parents were always Democrats due to the increased military funding that always seems to come from thier administrations.
