Did you catch any Sand Bass or at least some nice pictures?

Well...

Semper Fi 75 caught a sand shark, I'd say close to 24" long. And I caught a halibut, maybe about 13".
Both were released.

I owe SF75 $10 for the biggest catch, but only because he didn't allow me to count the bird I hooked. The bird was the best fight of the day until it drop'd the hook.
==No birds were injured or mistreated during this fight==

I think we would have done better if we managed to keep our bait alive.

It was a calm day to get the small boats out on the big water.

deepv - missed you out there. We went to Huntington Flats by the oil platforms. I'll post some pics (of the fish, not the bird ) under the lifestyle forum.

Hope you guys realize that I was just funnin' there. Saw the pictures. Looked like a really nice day. I saw the weather reports and they were saying 5 to 6 foot swells, but it looked pretty calm in the pictures.
