The Miller cycle is a modified Atkinson cycle with a supercharger. Note that the Atkinson cycle started as a way to get around the Otto cycle patents. It is more efficient because it changed the power stroke and the compression stroke dynamics. Originally, it was done by an indirect crank arrangement. Current Atkinson cycle engines use the valve timing to achieve the same effect. By leaving the intake valve open during part of the compression stroke, you reduce the loss of power. However, you lose torque, especially at low rpms. By using a supercharger to compensate for the reduced compression, you restore the torque for a low power loss.

With a 4 cylinder Camry rated 21/29 I'd be more likely to go that route although the BMW 328 is rated the same. Wifes 525 averages 26.9 mpg which is pretty good for all that comfort and cruises effortlessly at 95 while still knocking down almost 30mpg on the highway.

Comfortable or not, I want one. My bench seat Super Bee is pretty comfortable, but I do not want to talk gas mileage at all, of course that isn't, never was, and never will be the point of that car.
Oh, and if I think it's ugly I aint driving it, whatever its capabilities may be. A Prius is FUGLY!!!

Local dealer got an SRT Challenger, Black, It is a sweet car. From the reviews I would yea it's probably as comfortable as a camry and tons more fun. Life is to short to drive boring and fugly cars or slow boats.
I had a 66 charger in my youth. Restored by the dealer, showroom condition. Buckets in the back that folded down, man I had some fun in that car. Would be worth 6 figures today I bet.

LOL... pre-KCar and post-KCar are two different animals. Actually I was never a big fan of 60's Mopars either, but they had no relationship with what we think of as Chrysler junk today (with apologies to the ChryCo fans out there).
I think Camrys are outstanding, if I were in the market for a good car it would be on my short-short list. Discussing it in the same context with a 60's muscle car is apples and footballs.
Now, if you gave me a Prius, I'd just have it exorcised and light the damned thing on fire for the benefit of humanity.
