I saw the interview with him on TV - 20/20 I think - and was amazed at his resolve, courage, and strength in light of his situation. I only hope that I can show the same if I'm ever in the same situation.

AMEN to that. Words are hard to discribe his motivational speech that I watched. One of the better people that has walked this planet. Prayers to his wife and family.

What an amazing man. I saw the same show. This was almost a year ago I think. I just know I was a pretty new dad when I saw the show. All I can think is "how can this man be so positive, he is going to miss so much of his kids life." It almost brought me to tears in fact. I put myself in his place and could not imaging knowing my life was being cut short and missing my kids growing up
