Just thougt I would ask. My daughter is begging me to take her to a yankees game. We live in TN. The all in on packages are pretty expensive. I am thinking of driving to Staton Island to a hotel and then taking the ferry and the subway to the game.

Is anyone here that could give me some advice on any of this??

thanks,
hawk

Well, we made the 980 mile trip (15 hours) in a day and half going up and in a single day coming home. It was truly a great trip. The yankees won 3-2. Even got a chance to go to the Fire Island Lighthouse.

Tickets to the game 400.00

Getting an opportunity to spend 15 hrs with your daughter in the car....priceless.

Funny to say but driving is really quality time.

What a great post and great pic hawkshaw thumb
On top of the overall quality time with your daughter – seeing Yankee Stadium this year must have been icing on the cake.
What a memory for both of you smile
