Gorgeous boat. Gar Woods are special. Count me among the pastel hull color admirers, although for wooden boats I like the unpainted, varnished hulls even better.

I love those old woodies. I originally intended to get an old wooden runabout when the boating bug reinfected me a few years ago. Given how expensive even a newer fiberglass boat has turned out to be, I'm very glad I rethought the wooden boat idea!

I don't use this word often, but that is a lovely boat. I like everything about it; the shape, the fitments, the color. It's always thrilling to me to see classics such as this. Never see any such thing around here.

Much more interesting than the Azure, SB.

Lovely boat. The color wouldn't work for me on a new fiberglass boat but on this old "woody", it does. Thanks for the pics, sb.

Nice boat, very well done.
As for the color, isn't that pretty close to today's seafoam?

More blue than green, in person, if that helps.

What method is used to transmit the power from the engine into the water? Direct Drive?

Direct drive, I believe. The engine box is in the middle of the cockpit.

With a vee-drive, I would expect the engine box to be up against the transom.
