Cobalt24SX, I am sure that Patrick will be a BIG hit with my girls. Jenny now has her Red Cross babysitting certification and is looking for work in our neighborhood

And I like the idea of a BABC getother to cruise into Annapolis from Sandy Point. Or we could get adventurous and head for Rock Hall...

We will put her in next month. We will be up at the boat the end of the month. We have a few thing to do before we put her in.

We had unit #20 last year and it wasn't on the water. I'm hoping to be down either late Thursday night or early Friday morning. Cattailspa, I appreciate the slip offer. I'll round up some more good smokes for you guys.

Cattailspa gave us some great advice last year on a few places to eat outside of the resort. Maybe we can plan a BABC dinner out. I'd also be happy to shuttle anyone to and from the raft-up for those staying out on the water to do dinner.

Maybe there will be a Seabuddy or Raystown Ray sighting this year.

I sure hope so, I just don't know when yet. Are there any weekends that are better than others? I just checked the event calander and they still have 2007 on the website.

Any weekend would be good. They do have fireworks on the Holiday weekends. Thats if you can get a place to stay then.

I know these directions are early but spring is just one week away.

DIRECTIONS TO LAKE RAYSTOWN

From the PA Turnpike – head West toward Pittsburgh

Get off exit 180 Ft. Littleton (you’ll loose cell phone service from this point until you arrive at the marina so don’t get lost)

Turn Left onto 522 South (apx. 30 more mins of driving from this point to the marina)

Drive apx. 1.1 miles and bear Right on 475 North

Drive apx. 3.8 miles and bear Left on 655 North

Drive apx. 6.8 miles and bear Left on 913 West

Drive apx. 5.8 miles till you come to a stop sign at a “T” in the road. Turn Right.

Weave through the town of Robertsdale for apx. 0.4 miles. You’ll see a small green sign that says “Cooks 2 miles.” Turn Right at the sign.

Drive apx. 2.2 miles till you come to a stop sign. Turn Left on 944 West.

Drive apx. 8.7 miles. You’ll see the entrance to “Lake Raystown Resort & Lodge.” Turn Left into the entrance.

These directions are from Cattailspa. I was cleaning out old emails and came across the directions.

One note, where it says "apx." it should say actual as these directions are right on. As far as gas stations and/or grocery stores, I didn't see any from the turnpike to the resort so make sure your wife doesn't tell you mid way that she forgot the eggs or you will be eating pancakes every morning for breakfast.

Ok Spring is officially here and we have 134 days to go to BABC Raystown not to mention it's a full moon tonight. Rough Draft is going to be splashed in a few weekends.

Hmmmm...you are the second person this week who reminded me boating season is coming soon. I'd better get working on my long list of spring projects on Waywego. The kids were bugging me last season to reinforce the ski tow eye so we can start using the Super Mable again this year. That will be especially nice at Raystown ;\)

I'm familiar with the Super Mable. My brother and family will be joining us this year and I'm planning on bringing the knee board aka "the enema board". We're really looking forward to this trip.

I am looking forward to the trip as well but let's not wish for it to come too soon. This trip is towards the later part of the summer and we're still waiting for the good weather to arrive.

Hey Cobalt24sx I agree with Oh Holiday. Lets not rush summer yet. I am looking forward to this also. But it is toward the end of summer. I think you will have to make a trip up a little early this year. We always have good tequila on the boat for you.

Might have to try to talk my way on one of your boats for a little tubing this year? Looks like there will be some nice tubes up this year.

Gotta agree with you OH & cattailspa (not ganging up on ya Cobalt24sx grin). I just towed our boat home yesterday from storage; I don't want to think about August already. Although, I must admit, we're very excited also.

Hey cattailspa, I may not leave your 348 if you are going to have it stocked with good tequila funny. I usually have Patron Anejo or Don Julio Anejo in the cabinet at home.
