I am not sure. We stayed at the docks last weekend. I know we are going out but not sure where. It might be the cliffs but I'am not sure yet.

I have a family reunion in southern Virginia this weekend, plans to drive and see Smith Mountain Lake on our way home. The weekend after that, we are off to the beach. Maybe someday I will get the boat dewinterized.

How was Smith Mountain Lake and what beach were you at for Fathers Day? We went to Ocean City without the boat.

The reunion was hot and they don't have A/C down there. During the day it was mid 90's and at night (after midnight) you were scrambling for a blanket. We did not stop by SML on the way home as we had an 8+ hour drive ahead of us.

For Father's Day we were at Rehoboth Beach, DE. The water was 65 and I did get my ankles wet.

We both needed some alone time (nothing bad) so I went to HD where there was a boat show in the parking lot. It was mostly fishing boats (Grady WHite, Boston Whalers, Stripper, Carolina Skif), had some pontoon boats (Bennington), PWC, Cruisers (Sea Ray, Bayliner, Starcraft).

Anyone gonna be here for the 4th? Anyone going to James Creek know if there will be a band?

Probably not the 4th, just in August as it is a couple hour drive and too far for an up and back. Will be staying local and plan to be boating.

Hey bperg we are going to the cliffs this weekend and the next. I have not heard if they are going to have a band yet at James Creek. Are you going to be around at all this weekend?

Cattails & bperg, I'm seriously considering a week up there for the fourth and have inquired at a few rental places and want your opinion or recommendations.
