Wow! Our second mate is 9 years old and still less than 4'. Our girls are looking forward to seeing Patrick again and meeting OHFM.

Can't wait to see all of you guys. We should be arriving at the lake around noon on Friday.

I may have to close on Fri and get a head start on the weekend.

We started thinking on what to bring and eat and are continuing to make ice.

This is my week (besides working):
Monday: borrow refrig dolly to move washer, dryer, chest freezer, take off doors, clean out closets

Tuesday: Meet with lawyers to get one step closer to finalize the adoption of first mate, Move w & d, freezer to garage, admirals car gets parked outside

Wednesday: flooring getting installed in laundry room, half bath, and part of breakfast nook area.

Thursday: meet with financial planner, pack for Raystown

Friday morning: leave for Raystown

Sunday when we get home, move w, d and freezer back into laundry room.


I am ready for this vacation.

Rough Draft is all cleaned up and waxed for vacation. I have the week off and we'll be heading up Thursday afternoon. Life is good.

Look us up Thursday night. We should be there around 8:00pm. We can have a couple of drinks. We will have some Tequila in the fridge.

There is nothing free up there. You need to come by again. How have you guys been doing?

We will be by again; probably not soon though. Both girls are in college now and we seem to be doing trips closer to home. We are trying to pay for their college and give them a good start, so we are cutting back on expenses for a few years.

Cattailspa, you may want to make sure Lucy gets a good rest before this weekend. Thor is six months old and full of energy!

It looks like we may be bringing all three dogs. Our usual dog sitter may be coming with us...

OHFM loves dogs, he saw a black lab yesterday from about 100 yards away. He was enjoying splashing around in the kiddie pool and then went wild after seeing the dog. Our neighbor has a black lab so we went over there to pet him. This dog is layed back and let OHFM pull himself up and basically crawl right over him. Thankfully my neighbor has a very active 4 and 2 year old who often ride him like a horse so this was nothing new to the lab.

Lucy loves kids. She is great with them.

It takes a while for here to make up with other dogs. Some she makes up with very quickly. So this should be very interesting.
