Well, they lost their booking and called us to ask if we were interested in Thursday thru Sunday at a significant break in cost. Can't pass it up. My brother in law is joining us and he's bringing his boat (Cobalt 200) and we're going to enjoy the lake without Rough Draft for the first time. I will get to enjoy the water without being Captain for a change. We'll probably launch from Shy Beaver.

We'll be up Thursday night probably after nine. I will be bringing my portable VHF. I'll give you a shout when we make it to the cliffs. The brother in-laws boat is a Black '06 Cobalt 200 and looks a lot like mine just 4 feet shorter.

Now I don't have a boat for Raystown and to get mine ready I need to:
• Trailer Rough Draft
• Clean the hull
• Ready the trailer (short in wiring somewhere)
• Fix spare tire on trailer (slow leak)
• Replace front tires on truck (ordered tires yesterday, won’t be here in time)

I can overcome all these issues except one. My tires are dangerously worn and I can’t possibly endanger my family to tow with these tires. It’s also being predicted to be a 50% chance of Showers and T-Showers all weekend. Not sure it's worth the tow. I’ll be up to Raystown just won’t be on the water.

Ok, now the BIL will be with us for the fourth and has offered to leave us his rig for the rest of the weekend. I hope this doesn't turn into a weekend at bernies or a what about Bob scenario.
