Yep the Admiral and First Mate would LOVE that one nono . I wouldn't mind but they're calling for a 40-60% chance of rain.

We're planning just that. d Remember the house I mentioned staying at for the week? Well, they lost their booking and called us to ask if we were interested in Thursday thru Sunday at a significant break in cost. Can't pass it up. My brother in law is joining us and he's bringing his boat (Cobalt 200) and we're going to enjoy the lake without Rough Draft for the first time. I will get to enjoy the water without being Captain for a change. We'll probably launch from Shy Beaver.

I'll PM my cell number. We have AT&T now, I hope it works up there.

Sounds great. We will be behind the cliffs again. That is where we were last time you came.

Cobalt, Glad you could make it. Larry, you are thinking of the Days Inn, that was also owned by Derek's dad, they got offered a ton of money (over 2 mil) and now it's a Rite Aid.

That is the one I was thinking of Millstone Manor. Cobalt24sx when do you think you will be making it up? We will be there Thursday late. But we are heading right out. We will be there till Monday. AT&T will work good by the Resort to about 7-Points. Do you have a VHF on his boat. We are on channel 6. Just give a call if you need to find us.

We'll be up Thursday night probably after nine. I will be bringing my portable VHF. I'll give you a shout when we make it to the cliffs. The brother in-laws boat is a Black '06 Cobalt 200 and looks a lot like mine just 4 feet shorter.

I'm not going to know what to do with myself on someone else's boat. I guess I'll just enjoy the view and take lots of pictures. I just realized I can do a little drinking for a change. LOL look out.

I told OHA that you want to upgrade and her eyes lit up. "He is the one with the black and white Cobalt that I liked". I told her not to lay out all her cards on the table next month when we're up.

Crap! As of right now the BIL is not going to be joining us after all. Long story and not his fault but he's leaving the country on Sunday and needs to get his ducks in a row.

Now I don't have a boat for Raystown and to get mine ready I need to:
• Trailer Rough Draft
• Clean the hull
• Ready the trailer (short in wiring somewhere)
• Fix spare tire on trailer (slow leak)
• Replace front tires on truck (ordered tires yesterday, won’t be here in time)

I can overcome all these issues except one. My tires are dangerously worn and I can’t possibly endanger my family to tow with these tires. It’s also being predicted to be a 50% chance of Showers and T-Showers all weekend. Not sure it's worth the tow. I’ll be up to Raystown just won’t be on the water.

Ok, now the BIL will be with us for the fourth and has offered to leave us his rig for the rest of the weekend. I hope this doesn't turn into a weekend at bernies or a what about Bob scenario. Shaking my head at what we went through to get this weekend figured out. Might be easier to go to the moon. Variable this is Knife over.
