Girls gone wild at the Chain del.icio.us
Girls gone wild at the Chain digg it

Every year our lake has a big party at the sandbar. This year, it’s this coming Saturday. They have a live band and hundreds of boats that tie up. Thongs and pasties are common.

Well, this year the film crew from “Girls Gone Wild” will be hanging around at both the sandbar and the famous Blarneys Island (bar in middle of one of the lakes). I’m sure police will be everywhere.

I’m going just to keep an eye on my daughters (good excuse anyway). One has her own boat and the other will be on a friend’s boat.

Should I take pictures and post them?

With that film crew there, the thongs and pasties may be floating in the water laugh

ABSOLUTELY....NO FREAKING WAY THIS SHOULD NOT BECOME A MAJOR BABC PHOTOGRAPHED EVENT.

I'm mean...it's a boating related activity, right? And this is a boating website, right? We like to see nice pics of boats, right?

That's my story and I'm sticking to it! laugh laugh

I'm in. Where do I send my contribution? Pack your lenses Troop. Maybe the pics could go up on Seabuddy.net? Maybe Troop could land a choice assignment with GGW?

Ahhh the Sandbar party. Those were the days when I was single and without a care in the world. I have a few friends going so I'm sure I'll have some pictures. I'll be attending the more sublime Venetian Night on the big lake.

If we fly troop over there, you might run into air traffic. This is a big party. Many private planes and helicopters fly over it. One guy is called the Red Barron because he has a twin-winged red plane. He wears the leather helmet, goggles and the scarf. We all wave to him when he swoops down.

I have a friend who rented a houseboat and also had a GFBL boat alongside.

GGW asked if they could do some filming on his boat, and generous guy that he is, he agreed.

He said is was like being in the middle of a giant porn movie, only there were various scenes going on at different levels on the boat.

His new wife wasn't real happy about it, but I guess they still have some of the DVD's...

And I'd be happy to fly over if someone wants to donate airfare...

With all due respect, I'm not sure troop would produce the pictures you're all looking for. If we fly troop over, he'll find the only aircraft carrier on the lake.

I wonder if they're checking IDs before filming this time?: http://www.consumeraffairs.com/news04/2008/03/ggw_free.html

Thongs or no thongs, countless drunken boaters all urinating in a shallow drainage lake. No thanks . .

"urinating in a shallow drainage lake"

Not really... the lake passes the fluids down Fox river to eventually the Mississippi and then the Gulf.

But we do get Wisconsin water passed to us.

I have lived on the lower Fox River for 34 years and this will be a freak show. I boat Thurs and Fri,work Sat. Cloths, puke, [censored], jerks and nudists in and around the water.God help everyone.A freind hit a drunk swimmer in the middle of the river late one night and killed him. No alcohol in their boat, not speeding, spent more than 10 years dealing with it. I won't go near the place,
but the money and booze will flow. NO THANKS

I like my boat too much to go to this event on Saturday. A good buddy is going (with his camera), so I can see the 'highlights' afterwards.

I can only imaging how many drunk boaters will be leaving this party throughout the day/night... Be safe!!!
