LANGLEY, Okla. - The body of a 22-year-old drowning victim has been recovered from Grand Lake.

The Grand River Dam Authority Lake Patrol said Charles Britton Redifer of Broken Arrow apparently drowned in Grand Lake on Saturday after jumping off a boat near Summerfield Hollow.

The Patrol said the incident occurred around 7 p.m. and his body was recovered an hour later.

Relative of mine - somewhat distant - I hear he jumped off the boat and never surfaced. His Dad apparently searched underwater, but couldn't locate him. They don't know what happened.

Yes.

That's why I'm always terrified when people want to do that in my boat.

That's why I do not allow it from my boat. Anyone going into the drink from my boat has to have donned a pfd. My boat, my rules. No one's gonn drown from my boat from want of wearing a pfd.
