Thanks for sharing link! The uncle of a friend we have in Columbus has a place on Harding and we've talked about trying to get over there...especially when West Point was so low last summer

I was reading how the water level is troubling y'all this summer. Sorry to hear that! Seems like with the rain the Lagrange and Columbus area has had they could get the levels worked out.

I see you're in IT. Where do you work? (PM if you want) With Columbus so close to Harding, Eufaula and West Point I've often thought trying to move over to Columbus State would be nice move.

Thanks for sharing the site.. Looks like a nice place. Being from the west coast, it seems strange to see all that greenery around the lake. Here it's either all rock or dry brush..

I think same thing, but opposite, when I see y'alls pics from out west. "Where's the trees?"

My parents live on Guntersville Lake. That whole area has some of the best lakes I have ever seen. Beautiful spot.

I boat on Guntersville frequently, yea it is a wonderful lake except for all the milfoil. It's not to bad this year though. The bass fisherman love it though. Supposed to be the premier large mouth lake in the south.

They have bass boats sitting off thier back yard all the time. Dad's reeled in a few decent sized fish from shore.
The milfoil is what keeps them from tying the boat back there.

What part of the lake are they on? Several of bigwigs at work live up there, it ain't cheap. I think a lakefront raw lot is going for 150K plus these days on the dam end of the lake. You'd be surprised how little house you can get for a million dollars up there.
