The Gentleman that owns this Yacht has an extensive boat building background. He is currently gathering parts up.

Make, model, drives?

Any history to the boat....like maybe it's a Wheeler brand used for a Hollywood set?

Those pics show all of the reasons why fiberglass is what boats are built of these days.

I'd like to see some in-process pics as he restores it. They're beautiful when they're nicely restored.

Hope he has a deep pocket, that looks like way too much work and money.

Is that the boat the guy - I think from Europe - came here asking about a year or two ago?

Can you fiberglass the outside of the hull to keep the wood dry? - or will it still rot?

You'd have to love boats more than I do to even consider that project...

and I LOVE boats!

Wow - check the holes in the hull. No es bueno. Mucho dinero to "fixo."

that guy's sure got a yacht of restoration on his hands. might be quicker (and cheaper) to build one himself from scratch.

Hmmm. I'm guessing that just fiberglassing over those holes wouldn't work. ouch

Hey, a bit of duct tape and some bondo and a little 4200...good as new. Slap some paint on that baby and let's cruise!

I wish I had the time for a project like that. And the money. And the patience. And the know-how.

Nope. Fairly certain I'll never be doing that.
