Ok folks,
Got some photos loaded up and ready to share....
We stopped at a roadside rest stop and had a picnic.
Then later we crossed into Colorado....the kids were ready to burn off some energy...
We stayed in Pueblo that night and the next day went to Royal Gorge...this is the rail system that takes you down to the river, about 1K feet below. It's on a 45 degree incline.
They also have a watered powered clock...
Our next day in Colorado we went horseback riding near Leadville...went to the top of Mt. Zion. The girl in the hat is not ours.
The next day we went Jeeping.
Had another picnic...on the rock outcropping behind us it drops a couple of thousand feet and you can see for miles in every direction. Very scenic.
We are up near a working gold mine near Lost Canyon.
We took the next day off and just wandered around Breckenridge, were we had rented a condo.
The next day we went rafting down Brown's Canyon. This was the highlight of the trip.
We went home on Saturday...it was nice but the kids had had enough...
Colorado was beautiful and very clean...seems no one litters or everybody picks up a lot.
Wonderful state....
