On Holiday,

Thanx...we'll be there. The Lawn Service Plaza is located between the Lebanon-Lancaster and Harrisburg East interchanges, correct?

Yes it is GripB.

Got back from the store tonight. Got the important stuff. Corona and Tequila. Just about ready for the weekend. grin

I have a small change for Friday. I have to take a friends boat out in the morning. They have been having problems with it. Have to see if the mechanic got it fixed for him.

Our plans are a bit iffy right now -- I am in the hospital with my mom and it is too early to tell when she may get out. As soon as we get this figured out, I'll let you guys know.

Waywego,

Wishing your Mom, you and your family the best. I hope everything works out! It's a tough challenging time, I can relate. I no sooner read your post this morning when I got a phone call from one of my sisters regarding a bad diagnosis with my Mother frown. We're still planning on making the trip though, my Mom insists.

Sorry to hear about both of your mothers. When my mom was sick, she wanted me to not miss work by being at her side as it took away from my vacation time. I told her this is how I wanted to spend my vacation by being with her. It was the "best" vacation time I spent as she is no longer with us.

Both of you guys do what you need to do and will understand if you can't make the weekend.

I will be out of internet service from about 3 on today. If you need me, contact my cell phone listed in the PM thread.

We are looking forward to the weekend.

PS. don't forget to pack the eggs. We forgot last year, sure to have a few extras on hand this year. smile

Thanks for all the good wishes! And Grip, sorry to hear that you got bad news about your mom.

Right now, we are still planning on going, but will be late and not as prepared as we would like. My mom was in the hospital recently after a fall, so this is more of a maintenance visit to get her electrolytes back in line. Of course, she would MUCH rather be home, especially as this visit was not planned. My brother is going to be nearby this weekend, so he will be spending time with my mom.

I am still working on unforseen problems on the boat as well, but think I have a way to resolve them all.

This will be a very welcome vacation if we can pull it off...

Maybe we will remember to bring our camera this year wink

The boat is ready to go mechanically, but no cleaning done at all -- we'll have to touch it up tomorrow on the water. I still need to fill the outdrive lube resevoir, but am waiting until tomorrow morning to let the sealant dry. Unfortunately, I did not have time to work on the ski tow eye, so the Super Mable is only a float for this trip. We can still ski and tube, just not the big one.

Now to change the oil on the truck and start packing. We moved since we last camped, so that may be a challange on its own funny

Yeah, we made it to the resort. We're in Villa #1. We can probably host a fire or two. Our little guy will sleep through it and we brought our baby now toddler monitor. I don't have any wood but will see what I can find tomorrow.

Waywego, glad to hear your Mom will be ok. Glad to hear your planning on comming. Patrick will be glad to see the girls and puppy.

Actually, we are bringing all three dogs! We also have two toy poodles, Pollo and Pepper. I THINK we are under control now and we hope to be on the road by early afternoon tomorrow. We may even get to splash the boat tomorrow?

The trip is now over and I am back at work frown

We were going to go to the lake/ beach area on Sunday after we broke camp but decided it would be best to get home so we can unpack before the work week starts again.

OHFM survived his first camping trip and he did a wonderful job. The hardest part was keeping a 9 month confined to a stroller or his pack-n-play. We must have wore him out because he slept for 2 hours on the way home and then took a 2 hour nap. Once we got home, I set him free and he crawled every inch of the house.

Next year I think I will take Monday off so we can enjoy some boating time on Sunday as well.

It was great to meet up with our friends from this board and to meet new ones.

On the way home, we discussed what we want in our next boat. OHA even had a few items to share.

I'll download pictures and post them here, hopefully tomorrow.
