Well, we are back from our trip at Table Rock Lake. This was my favorite vacation that I have ever had. I was planning on metting up with a couple of members while I was down there, but with all of the activities that we had going on we didn't have the chance. Sorry Tony and Derek. Maybe next time.
This was the first time down there and I was not disappointed. This is the view of the house as we pulled down the driveway.
The view got better as we came around the driveway to the lakeshore. There was a dock with a lift for us to use. They even had a peddle boat for us to use. As you can guess, our boat didn't stay on the trailer for long.
Here is what the house looked like from the lake. There was a screened in porch on both levels. The inside of the house was very nice, but we spent most of our time on the porch except for the time we were out on the lake.
My sister, BIL and there youngest trying to save on the fuel cost.
I bought a super mable for tubing. I have mixed feelings on this. It is too big to sit on the sun pad for transporting, but the kids sure do like playing on it while just floating around.
Had some good quality time with the kids. Here is one with my youngest and his first fish. It was really cool. We went rolled over some logs and collected some worms. We would just hold the fishing string down in the water a couple of feet off of the dock. We could watch the fish bite the hook and we would just lift them out of the water. He was in heaven.

thanks for shareing
I know what you mean about the Mable. We got the two seater (BIG Mable) and it either takes up the whole back seat, or I do my best to tie it to the rear cleats and tow it close to the boat (but this is tricky), or I need to deflate it before we get going.

Thanks for the pics and write up. That first cruising shot is great. Love the reflection off the water.
It looks like you had good weather and glass to tube on. And the grin on your young fisherman's face is worth every dime you spent for gas and then some.
Everything still cool with the water level and all?
Just curious, I'll be down in a few weeks.
Not really a big issue. We had to go around some floating logs. Also with all of the trees sticking out of the water by the shore, not really sure what was under the surface. Kind of made me a little nervous.
On the other hand, it did allow us to explore other areas that otherwise would have been too shallow to get to.
