I took my boys and a friend out on Beltzville Lake in Northeast PA last weekend. This is the first chance we had to play with our new tube.








I was fishing back in this cove, when I hooked into a nice bass.

Nice fish, and nice cove to anchor in. What a pretty spot. Looks like everyone had a good day on the water.

Who was the photographer in those shots? He/she looks like they're pretty good with the lens.

We live in Northampton co. The lake is located in Franklin and Towamensing townships, Carbon County, PA.

Beltzville state park

My boys friends mother brought her camera along. She took all the pictures. It was the first time her son was on a boat and he even caught his first fish with us.

Beltzville is one of our favorites, mainly because it's the closest lake to us. Lately, we've been hanging out at Blue Marsh. It's a little bigger, and less restrictive as far as tubing/skiing goes (Beltzville has a small rectangular area for water sports, and it gets crowded quickly).

Here's a shot of me at Blue Marsh on Saturday. Does this bathing suit make me look fat?

To paraphrase an old joke I heard in the military, "Will everyone with a pretty photo in this post please step forward, not you Just Bob." Just kidding. Sour grapes and all because you were boating this weekend and I was weeding the vegetable garden.
