ya know, it makes me wonder---just how many different variations of compound and polish are REALLY necessary? It's like, if you're using a 400 grit sandpaper, would a 395 grit paper be better?

I tend to use one Cleaner/Wax (#50) most of the time, then as many levels of grit as seems are needed in special cases.
