The previous designed hull had a tendency to ride bow-down, hence the redesigned lifting strakes.

Great boats!

Looks to me like there's a seat pedestal base just behind the railing - no seat though.

Jim, thats what I thought too, but if you look closely at the top pic, you can see it's supporting a piece of rail tube that comes up and appears to curve and connect to the main railing about 2/3 the way up. In the second picture at about where the 2 railings would meet, there looks to be the head of a thru-bolt. If it IS a rail support, it's in a weird place, and doesn't really seem necessary...?

Maybe since there is a lower station with a fold-down pilot seat, and since it is a fishing boat, the bridge is only used for spotting fish and docking? Makes sense to just be standing for those activities...

Yep, they made a line of Airslots.

An 18' CC (VERY rare), a 21 and the pictured 24 (VERY common).

They also had a Nova style cuddy (that their brochures referred to as a Ferrari with a kitchen), and a few open bow Airslots.

Nice boats!

Wellcraft offered the Skippy versions after they dropped the Airslot fishing line, and before they came out with their "Sportsmen" line (248 first and then the 228).
