Adversary98, Cape Fair is way up the James River arm. Real quiet and has some nice water for water sports. Are you camping or renting a cabin/resort? We really like the campground at Cape Fair. They have a marina there with gas dock and supplies, but no restaurant at the marina.

The town of Cape Fair is very small and there isn't much there. There is a little burger/pizza joint but that's about it.

It's a long boat ride to Kimberling City from Cape Fair.

Hmmm. We are renting a house. Not good to hear it may be a ways to restaurants via water. That's on of our favorite things about LOTO - restaurants everywhere.

Cape Fair is a nice area. It is fairly quiet and a good area for skiing and tubing. The closest restuarant on the lake from Cape Fair is in Aunt's Creek. That is a good 30 minute ride. From there Kimberling City is about 15 to 20 more minutes.

Table Rock is considerably different then LOTO. There are only about 6 or 7 restuarants on the whole lake. Many of those are park the boat and walk up on land.

Derek,
If you want, we could meet up on the 17th. I don't know what time you plan on getting down there. We plan on leaving early on the 18th.

I just booked at Big Cedar lodge for weekend of Sept. 27th to the 30th. If anyone is in the area, let me know.

Can anyone give me an idea of what's down in that area to do or must sees?
