Yeah, when I first bought our Suburban gas was only $1.18 / gal. (we found an old credit card receipt in our files) So a 42 gallon fillup was only about $50, now it right at $150 kinda crazy.
But what really chaps me, as much as the gas prices, are the pumps that cut off at $75 or $100. What's up with that? Don't the companies realize that most fillups are gonna be over those two amounts. The first one of these that I encountered, a little over 2 years ago, the clerk informed me that it's the credit/debit card companies that impose the limit for our protection. But what protection are they talking about when you can just swipe your card again and continue filling up? Doesn't make sense. Why wouldn't they limit other transactions as well? I think that it's the retailer's decision as well. Sorry for the rant, but come on guys!!! Have a clue!
Cheers,

Kev
