I drove up to Branson last Wednesday to meet the admiral and the grandkid, they had driven up on Monday. Since she had the grandkid she needed to drive the Lincoln for the room. Since she drove my car, I had to drive the S2000.
At Muskogee I cut over off the normal route and once I hit Pea Ridge, AR the drive got really fun. For those of you who know the area between Pea Ridge and Branson, going through Cassville and Cape Fair, you know those roads are perfect for the S2000. I did cross TRL at Bridgeport and saw how high the water is.
The couple cars I came up on 76 were nice enough to move over and let me go on by, never to be seen again!!!!
This is the first time I have had the opportunity to put it to the test by myself without the admiral. What fun that was!!!!
I was also very surprised that between Plano and Muskogee I got 31 MPG. We had never gotten over 25 before. During that stretch the cruise was set at the speed limit and I was just cruising along comfortably.
