What a beautiful Hatt!!!

And what about this? Right behind us in the anchorage, three identical boats! Did I miss out on a sale?!

Take a look at this beauty! Right in our marina, I'm playing my cards to see when I can get a tour.

Yep, all Carver 356 Aft Cabins. You can get a 2000 in good shape for less than 150K. That's alot of boat for the money. My BIL has one and it is very nice.

Capn' - really? That's a lot of room for the price! I was surprised to see three of them in one spot!

Carver has always been noted for building roomy boats.

We have probably 300sq ft of space in our 325.

People that come into the boat are amazed at the room inside. It doesn't look as big from the exterior.

Yes It is true. Many are listed a bit more than that, but after negotiations, you can get one for the price I mentioned. There are quite a few of them in our area. Probably one of the best "floating condo" buys for it's size. The admiral wants one, but I can't see it happening.

There is a 355 in our marina for sale, $109K. It is a 1995 model, and mostly differs from a 356 cosmetically.

They will trade for a smaller boat.

For many, thats true. Unfortunately, it is a buyers market in that regard.

We plan on keeping ours. As we retire, we need a floating condo of sorts due to the distance we travel from our house.

That is one reason I am thinking of buying a small runabout, bowrider, or Whaler so that we can stay on the big boat as our cottage, but use the smaller boat for general mischief.

If we lived local to the area, we would likely just have a smaller boat.
