I have a Verizon Razr phone, anyone recommend a CHEAP headset? Not looking for serious quality, won't use it except when in the car while commuting.

Got the original Jawbone; thought it was excellent. Upgraded to the Jawbone 2 - much smaller, better mechanical design; love it even more. Can't imagine using another (unless there's a Jawbone 3 coming...). Get on YouTube and do a search on Jawbone - lots of funny commercials.

I have one and they do the job. I bought 2 for $100 (one for my daughter).
Ideally, you stick them on your windshield and the solar panel keeps them charged. Although the sound is sacrificed when it's that far away. I put mine on my visor and just charge it every now and then.

Plantronics is the only brand I use after trying several. The first plantronics unit I bought (~$35) worked great, but I accidentally put something heavy on it and broke it.

The one I have now is noise-cancelling, looks good, keeps a charge for days, stays on my head, and is so comfortable that I forget I have it on.(Just like the first one)

I paid about $50 for it.

I originally bought a plantronics but everyone I talked to complained about the audio quality. I asked the people at ATT and they recommended the jawbone hands down over all of the others. They returned the plantronics and gave me the jawbone.

i'm a big plantronics fan and use the voyager bluetooth ear piece, which costs approx $50. it has interchangeable ear pads so you can find one that fits well. it also works well with glasses and the audio is great. an added bonus is that a bluetooth box is avaialble for the unit that will turn any phone into a bluetooth device. although the blue tooth box is a bit pricey, i have it at work so i can wear the bluetooth headset and if my cell phone or office phone rings, i can answer either with a push of the botton on the earpiece. or if i'm lazy, i can just slam my head against the wall and answer either phone completely hands free.

I have done well with the Moto H500 which can be found on sale for $30 every now and then. Its only problem is that it is sensitive to all sounds. But if you are driving down the road, you can let your wife talk too. Bad is if you are talking to your wife and she hears another female in your car.

I have the H850 i think it is. Not for the hard of hearing.

I have heard things about some of the plantronics models. There are a few that stand out.

I use a Jabra JX10. I'm on my second one and it gets used every day and I spend a lot of time on the phone. It's a little spendy, but I like it better than any of the other ones I have used.

I've had many Bluetooth headsets. The Motorola H700 had crappy sound quality but was comfortable on the ear. The Jawbone-1 had good sound quality but hurt my ear. I now have the Plantronics Discovery 925 and it's comfortable, has great sound quality and the battery lasts forever.

How does the Plantronis model stay in your ear? Does it tend to want to come out?

It stays in the ear really well. Keep in mind, I only use it in the truck. I don't know how it would do jogging etc. Some places have one out for demo or at the very least have a return policy. You should give one a try.
