Well, now we have another name on the table. Has to do with my good friend, Murphy. And his law. He MUST be my friend, because he's always around, always pulling pranks on me. If it can go wrong, it does. If I drop the wrench, it does go to the worst possible place to retrieve it. If the last thing I want to do is drop something in the water, it ends up in the water, props, tools, watches, cell phones, plumbing accessories...I probably knock 30 things a day off of tables, desks or anywhere there's a thing to be knocked off. And my favorite, he supplies us with a storm for almost every boat ride!

So, in honor of my good friend, and in sincere hopes of pleasing him so that he may see fit to take mercy on us and bestow his good natured pranks on us much less often, we now have up for consideration:

Murphy's Lawft

(even the admiral likes it!)

Or this one:

If you make it large enough for detail, maybe you could add a bent nail head sticking out of the upper leg of the M.

That's cool FR. I liked the 8th Heaven as well. Or you could combine them to Murph's 8th. But people might think your name is Murphy.
Both are good names, much better than 9'er Pickle Blowfish.

I think the M should be rotated or the nail moved to the higher end of the letter.

I don't care for the M totally sideways, then it could also be a "W". I had it falling and leaning on the "u" and the nail was holding it up, but I DO like it up and inside better! I just edited the first picture---

I like it. The diagonal blue fill in the letters could be horizontal with waves instead? Just to add to the boat theme.
