Wow, I had no idea I was supposed to evacuate just because I broke a lightbulb.

I also did not know that congress had mandated their use. I predict a big year for incandescent bulbs in 2013.

I've banned incandesent light bulbs in my house, mostly.

I put them in the blue waste... Recyclable trash can.

Liked his quote near the end (maybe not exact words) "I yearn for the days when America took care of America." Seems pretty "spot on" to me.

Geez, I broke one cause it didn't fit in my outside lights and just threw it away. Please don't anybody tell al gore.

Coal, Oil and Natural Gas, Seems like its them that don't want to conserve energy. I haven't had any interference with the tv and there's one right next to it. And, BTW, it is window, not winda.

But seriously, CFL's will be more welcome at my house when they make them suitable for dimmed circuits. Nearly every lighting circuit in my house is on a dimmer. Until then, they're great in the garage, laundry room, etc.

Thanks, Andy! It's good to know they're out there. I doubt I'll be making any wholesale switches to them until they're commonly (locally) available. That link's a keeper, though.
