Forgive me if this is a repeat topic. With the incredibly high price of gasoline, are there any promos in your area? Pic and Save grocery stores in Wi. are offering a dime off each gallon for each $50.00 spent on groceries. I'm sure everyone is aware of Chryslers $2.99 a gal. promo. Any others?
It would also be nice to get a discount for buying in bulk. I could see Costco doing something like this. I would also like to see Costco put in diesel stations.

My local grocery store does the 10cents for every $50 spent. They allow 30 gallons. They also occasionally put coupons in their weekly ad for $1 off per gallon for a new or transferred prescription, I transferred 2, one cost $4 and the other $7 and for that I got $60 worth of gas.

15 gallons per week would be a nice offset for me, but anything would be nice. Currently I am burning through about 25 just getting to work and back. A round trip to the lake is another 25 gallons if I have the boat in tow.
Sadly none of the chains mentioned above exist in my area. The concept of a grocery store selling gasoline hasn't caught on in St. Louis yet. One station offers 10 cents off with a $7 touchless (worthless) car wash, but that is it.
I can get E85 for $2.99, but the 20 - 25% cost savings is eaten up by the 20% decrease in MPG and I prefer the 20% extra range in the tank when full.

Harmon's also does something with cents off depending on the $ amount of your purchase. I thought Smith's did the same thing?? I don't shop much a t Smith's so I wouldn't know. And the Harmon's that does have a gas station at it is down in SLC so that doesn't do me much good. Albertson's does give us 3 cents off each gallon if you use your preferred card. Last summer they had a few weekends when they had gas at 10 cents to 20 cents off per gallon (depending on the sale). Haven't seen that this year at all.
