of things that they own, and take a short cut to solve a problem, this is what happens...
I knew that we were going to need to do some work on the camper and I also new that it had some previous water damage. I knew that the "cap" sides werea little on the TLC side but I did not know that they were, esentially non existant..
I took the cap off the camper after I noticed that the sides were starting to come apart from each other and what I found was that the aluminum cladding was the only thing keeping the top on.
(if you own one of these and decide to do this, be advised to take care in securing the spring loaded armatures - they are under tension when its in the down position.. I now know this..and it was a close call)
any way, heres what I found..




In this pic, there is litterally NO wood behind the cladding..

I have it all apart now and am starting to get it back together, hopefully for the weekend coming up..

keepin mind that I knew things were wrong with it and I knew that I was going to need to work on it AND, that I am NOT upset about this at all..
