the boards were so rotten that they came out like mulch!!

I took the panel off the cieling as well, the corners were all rotted as well.

I had to place a 1 x 1 3/4 piece around the perimeter on the cieling.

I had to glue a new panel on the polystyrene with PL 300 and Ployurethane on the metal. then screwed what I could.

Today I will drill the holes for the lighting and all the brackets. Hopefully I will get most of it done today, but we wont be using it tonight for the 4th.

happy 4th of July!!

Bradyf,
Looks like a nice project to be working on. I really like the new pic of the little gal and her mommy. Boy can I tell where she gets the good looks from!! Nice pic of the two.

OMG!!!!

My mom just called and told me that my Uncle is thinking about selling his pop up!!!!! ouch

I even asked her prior to buying this one if he was selling it or if he would consider it. She said "he wouldnt sell that thing"...

His is in great shape and doesnt need a new canvas ($800+)

I dont know what to do here....all that work into this one, (it will need a canvas next year) and now I could buy his for "fairly" cheap and it does not need any "real" work!!!

I need to talk to the admiral.. idn ouch

If the numbers work, get this one back together and sell it, then buy your uncle's.
