I'm with Billy on this one. Check the codes once in a while and see if there are any mileage/driveability issues. Otherwise save your cash.

And for the record, sarcasm does not come across very well on the internet. Many times I have hit the submit button and then read my post in horror as I realized it would be taken far differently than intended.

While it's rare anyone ever hears me saying 'let the dealer do it', this is one of those times!

Having dealt with a nightmare of a computer controlled Buick since 1983, and (not?) ironically even this very minute... (a friend is sending me a computer in an attempt to troubleshoot the lastest problems)....

I say spend the money and get a new one.

While the thing may SEEM to be running right, since the computer's troubleshot itself as "bad", you'll have NO idea if it's actually doing what it's supposed to be doing, such as reading correct data input from throttle position sensors, 02 sensors, MAF sensors etc, feeding correct data to injector drivers, setting the timing correctly, finding and displaying correct trouble codes---your computer is pretty much flying blind.

Nothing yet...we have been on vacation for the past week or so. Left the Jeep in the garage...but I think we are going with a new computer from the dealer.
