Economics is constantly reinventing itself. I doubt anyone follows John Maynard anymore. I read an interesting editorial about the current President's management. Basically, the pundits were saying that government should be run in a more business-like manner. Bush was an early adopter of the mangement policies that we consider 101 management today. He is our first president with a MBA. It has been found through his problems that business management does not work that well in the Presidency. His article's only real complaint was that Bush was too loyal to those who failed, and that using Chaney as a CEO type position was not practical. Personally, I think he was too kind to Chaney, but that is opinion, not fact.

Many of our existing problems can be laid at many doors over a long period. I can make direct connections with acts from before 1970 that are coming into fruitation today. Others have made connections to acts committed over 100 years and their repercussions today. Who knows what will happen.

Only when or if the public at large starts voting "establishment" pols out will we ever have a hope. The big problem is who will we replace them with? Both parties have a strong machine that beats and tears down all opposition. What poor fool is going to go up against any one of them?

I am not holding my breath. The general population is clueless and seemingly happily so.

Most seem too lazy to be bothered with any attempt at understanding any of this and just keep following the lemming in front of them as we all get swept over the edge.

Nice video, I just wish they cut to the posters a little longer so you can actually read them...

What a great line! I'm going to borrow that one to use in a speech in couple of hours!
