Thanks to our Congress not thinking things through, we are paying millions of dollars for oil that goes to Europe at reduced price. In order to promote bio-fuels, the give a $1/gallon incentive for bio-diesel blending. The wording is so poorly done, a lot of nations are sending ships loaded with 9 million gallons of sugar cane diesel from Brazil, or soy diesel from Asia. They pull into a U.S. port on the way to Europe and add about 9000 gallons of diesel. Then they make the trip to Europe and sell the fuel at a reduce rate and claim $9,009,000 dollars from us.

And the fun part is that they cannot be caught at this, because our privacy laws will not allow the IRS to divulge who is profiting from this. Not even to another agency. This is a reason why I do not support farm subsidies. They have just become a means for the unscrupleous to steal tax money.
