Well Bill, I guess we'll agree to disagree on that one.

No hour-winner here deev.
Our typical outing is 2-4 engine hrs at a time...

The contestant we need:
The guy a few years ago who claimed 60? hours in a very short time.
seabuddy questioned him, but to his credit – he stuck to his guns.

Who knows, that guy may still me here as a regular member?

I don't think it was me LL, but from mid May 2001 to end of September 2001 I put 110 hours on my boat. Mostly on just the weekends. So it can be done.

It wasn’t you BillyB & it was 64 hours in six weeks.
Something we should all be doing!

Put another couple of hours on yesterday but spent most of the day on the hook fishing (and even some catching funny).

I immediately cut the ignition and open the hatch. Oil freaking everywhere and I look at the remote oil filter as I've read about these hose connections failing in the past. Sure enough, the hose fitting is why I have at least 3 qts of oil sprayed though out my bilge.

We were about 3/4 of a mile away from the ramp when this happened. It was about 85 degrees outside with zero wind. I paddled for an hour before a guy in a bass boat saw us and towed us in.

Guess I should be glad it happened today close to the ramp instead of yesterday when we were 15 miles down the lake.

Next few weeks are busy for us so I dropped the boat off at a near by marina and they told me the standard 2 weeks. Doesn't look like the line is a big deal to change, but I do not want to deal with mess. I know my boat is 3 years out of warranty, but I might call Volvo tomorrow to complain anyway. What do you guys think?

Looks like my hours to date this year will be stuck on 7 for a while

I'm up to 181 now. Maybe I'll actually hit the "average" 50 hours this year?

Already at 205.1 for 25.5 so far.
Burned 135.3 Gallons of fuel ($535) and 903 miles towing ($429).
But I'm not keeping track

Started at 185 hrs. Only did 45 hrs last year. Hope to do at least 50 this year. We had a late start and with the price of fuel, we might not make it. But I'm going to try!

deepv - I don't remember where I ended up last year. Kept boating into November but I think the contest had ended. Is the old post around with our totals?

Anybody have their current hours?

I've got 209 now and started with 167, so 42 and I probably will get a few more.

Started at around 195 and ended at 229. Thought we'd hit an easy 50 this year, but it didn't happen.

Yes, I am still here. I have been busy and just lurking lately.

I am not sure that I would be the winner of last year. I bought the boat in April of last year and the family was boat crazy for the year.
We did put a lot of hours on the engine. I will guess about 140 hrs. I will see if the dealer has the hrs. at time of the winterizing from last year.

This year, we had the pleasure of having a camper trailer ( my Father’s ) that we were able to leave at the lake for us to use.
We were out at the lake almost every weekend. I will make another post about that. Really cool spot.

Anyway, a little off topic….. sorry.

I just went and pulled the boat out of the slip and brought it home to clean and wax to get ready for the winterizing. It has 240 hrs.
