Otherwise, sounds about right to me without looking it up on KBB. Should be a great tow vehicle. Does it have the Allison? (or did I miss that?)

I like indy's 25k offer, except, I might get a little more realistic with 27k. The fact it is the older style should drop the price a few grand.

I wish 27K was realistic out here. 2 months ago I offered 27K on a used 2007 1500HD. That got shot down in a heartbeat. Yeah it was a new style, but it was also a 1500.

California seems to be its own planet when it comes to the pricing. I pushed back some today and got zero movement or indication that any was possible.

There is still a fair amount of demand for trucks out here. Not sure why, but they are still moving, albeit not as fast.

Here is the truck.

2007 2500HD Classic

I have on other place I am going to talk to on a new 2007 2500HD with the new body style.

I actually like the old style better and find the interior more comfortable. But, if I can swing a new fo 3K more, I will look that direction.

Truck looks clean! Just a comment, the torsion bars have been turned up, creates some additional wear and tear down the line.

Can you comment on the additional wearand tear. What kind is likely, etc?

I thought it was sitting a little high. The tires are definitely oversized, but I took a look at the rear springs and there are no blocks which means it would have had to be done by springs. But, normally when that happens you see Rancho or other crap plastered all over the truck. I'll take a closer look.

Great looking truck!

My B-I-L has one.

I don't get why the designers at GM couldn't figure out how to design the side mirrors to sit level, versus angled up. It's like they just left the mounting bracket at a 90 degree angle, rather than a slight adjustment so they sit level in relation to the rest of the truck.

I know, I'm OCD...

Good luck with the deal!

Go to dieselplace.com and read about turning up torsion arms, lots of stuff. It rides a little rougher and the wear associated with it (Shocks, steering, etc.). It is really simplt to do, so many will do it to clear oversize tires. GM leveling kits aren't cheap, so many do it.

James, have you looked on ebay for similar vehicles in your area and also in nearby states? I've been watching F450's on ebay and they're dropping in price.

I had GW's car shipped up from Sacramento for $650, delivered to my office.

Might be worth looking.

I guess in all honesty I am scared to buy something this big on ebay. I know a lot of people do it, but I am a little scared there will be a problem with the vehicle or with titling and registering once I get it.

Perhaps you can give me some tips or put my mind at ease.
