If you’re in the Washington DC area this weekend you’ll find a Food & Wine event at the new National Harbor complex. It’s a huge multi-use project on the Potomac River that is progressively opening in 2008. There is a marina within the complex.

The Food & Wine Festival is to open 11-7 this Saturday, May 17 and from 11- 6 on Sunday.

A variety of ticket prices are available:
The One Day Festival Pass is $65 per person, and includes 10 food and 10 alcohol tasting vouchers
The Two Day Festival Pass is $100 per person, and includes 10 food and 10 alcohol tasting vouchers for each day
The “Designated Driver” Ticket is $50 per person, and includes 20 food and non-alcohol tasting vouchers

A portion of the event’s income will benefit the Share Our Strength organization.
