Not too long ago I saw the coolest rig ever. It was sort of like a car carrier but it was a bright yellow truck with matching trailer. The was carrying a bright yellow viper, matching fountain and matching Harley. Lots of money tied up in that toy tower.

I noticed the price on the gas also. What a difference from today. I complained then because it was $1.309. What a rip off !!! ;\)

Little did any of guess where it would be today.

When I bought this boat in 1994 fuel at the marina was .69 a gal. On the street it was around .45. Those were the days.

I do not run with full tanks unless I'm going on a trip. Seems $200 does not even get a quarter tank to putt around on these days.

My before and after pics. The 'before' was taken on March 16th in Grand Forks as I stopped by the Admiral's work for an extra kiss before I hit the road. We got about 4-8 inches of snow the day before! The truck thermometer read about 20 degrees when that was taken.

The 'after' was taken Saturday, March 24th in the parking lot of my hotel just outside of Little Rock AFB, Arkansas! Reading 76 degrees for that pic and about 20 minutes later we were off to Greers Ferry Lake!!

Not really a match of course but I like the red, white and 'Bayliner blue' theme!

I think they match well with both vehicles!

Thought I would show my new tow vehicle. It matches the boat color now better than the service truck and hauls much much better

Tows like a dream. I can pass cars at will on the highway now, not that I would do something like that.

What kind of tongue weight you got there referman? You truck looks like it's squatting a touch. Does it steer and stop good?

BB, I noticed that too. I'm not sure, I haven't noticed a problem steering or braking. Towing wise it's not even a close comparison. The service truck already weighed 10k lbs. by itself!!

I don't have pictures of mine to post yet but had to pass on the rig I saw at the lake last weekend. Looked to be a brand new Mastercraft X-2 being pulled by a very new looking Quad Cab SRT10 Dodge Ram. More money sitting there than I paid for my house! Nice nice rig though.

It is time for me to update my tow vehicle photo. I picked it out by options not color, but it matches pretty well.

Nice Durango! What options? I've got an '04 Limited thats loaded, and almost has 50k miles on it. I'm thinking an Aspen when my warranty is up at 70k. 42 is the MSRP on an Aspen equipped like my Durango except it adds second row heated bucket seats.

Nice Durango! We love our '05 Limited. Love the new front end. I am also thing about an Aspen to replace my 300M. Hoping Mopar comes out with an SRT version of the Aspen or Durango.
