Admiral had day off so I took vacation day and we FINALLY got boat out on the water! We've been so busy with work, kids activities, etc. we just haven't been out. Or, weather would be lousy when we had a free weekend.

Admiral and I got to lake about noon and went for a little spin around the lake. Then, we dropped anchor and had a nice lunch. After lunch, we worked on doing some cleanup of the interior. It had lots of pollen & dust buildup where it had blown under the carport cover. Normally I'll wash off the boat 3 or 4 times during winter but I've been a good citizen and obeying the outdoor watering ban. We still have some to go on cleaning but I really needed a day of use first!

Our kids and a few friends came over after school and tubed for for a few hours. With the cooler weather, their teeth were chattering when they got out but all had a great time. Its nice daughter can drive them over!

We loaded up around 7:30pm and hit Burger King - which seems to be our routine for the after boating meal.

Boat ran great. Tach didn't work so I'll need to look into that. Hoping its just a fuse or lose wire.

I bet it was nice.

Sounds like fun! We're splashing ours for the 1st time this year in about 3 hours!!! My kids were wearing their lifejackets around the house for 'practice' this morning already. It's a happy day when my 3 1/2 year old wakes up and asks "daddy, is it boating day today?" :-)
