   Trailer Lock del.icio.us
   Trailer Lock digg it
Has anyone used on of these? If so, thought on quality/usefulness? I'm thinking it may be the best thing for making the trailer unavailable to anyone wanting to steal it.

Never used it, but it looks like it will keep honest people honest. If they really want your boat/trailer, they'll figure a way to get it...

Agree, never seen it before, but it looks good. Could a thief remove the "locked" wheel, and the spare put on? Just thinkin' out loud.

Dang it Phil! Bust my bubble will you?!?! Yeah, guess they could do that and put the spare on, if the spare wasn't locked down, or they had another spare available.

I'm concerned with having to leave my trailer in the parking lot of the place on TRL I'm going to be at this summer at the end of June. Guess I could find a place to back the trailer up against a tree or something...

I still like the thing ... just put your spare in your car/truck for those few days.

Better yet, get "locking" lugnuts for the wheel that has the boot on it.

Like was said ... you just need to make it "not easy" to steal.

I agree, put locking lug nuts on it, maybe that Club thing you pictured, pay up your insurance, and enjoy TRL smile . If somebody makes off with your trailer you'll just have to call your employer and tell them you can't come home wink wink .

Yeah, that's the ticket!!!! It would go something like this..."Hey boss, ummm, won't be in the office this next week either as we're having to live on the boat while I get mu insurance to bring me a trailer so I can get me boat home..."

I've seen a lock that goes one step further than the one in the picture. Not only does it do the same thing, but it also blocks the lug nuts so you can't remove the wheel and drive off.

I wasn't in the market, so I didn't look any further, but it was $69.95 and it was at a cargo/utility trailer sales place.

Good luck!
