Not sure I like it but at least I understand it now. smile

Imagine if they would of done that on new cars with variable lift on intake and exhaust and direct injection. I would be running a engine model 450 right now?! woooohaaaaa

I like the simpleness of just hp ratting as the model number.

How, then, would you tell in a simple sign that one is maybe 1/3 faster?

Good one. Pay for a certain level of performance and then see if the joy stick comes with it.

I know the picture is of a boat show demo unit -- but doesn't the rotational axis of the unit have to be vertical -- if not when you steered one way the boat would list one way -- and vice versa --- maybe it is just how the second picture looks.

Not with IPS. That is one of the features that gives the boat MUCH MUCH MUCH better handling characteristics. IPS boats get through turns in a HURRY!

Promote the advantage instead of a new model name. Like by saying "Now 33% faster". Simpler and effective I think.

They have done that, and I think many just galance over the copy, rather than read it.

Its like trying to sell something without one item that that starts a conversation, perhaps.
