I had the opportunity to try a Sea Ray 300 with the Axius drivesystem. It was quite interesting and intuitive to use and seemed like a good thing for newbies to boating in particular.

I wonder though how the transmissions will hold up as the system moved between fwd and rev. all the time and it did not sound too friendly to the drives.

Interestingly enough the alarm indicator for low oil in transmission came on or was on already when we went out.

ANyone with more experience on these controls and drives?

There is no 300DA in Sea Ray's cruiser line up anymore. Was it a 310DA?

Must have been a 310 then, it was the new design all together.
