if they are on the out side will you have to redo your covers?
and have to put reinforcements in the cover for the added strain and wear points on the cover.

Form follows function. Topside!

Go with it topside, looks great + functional thumb
On that size boat, I wouldn't want the rail on the inside of the bow (to bang in to).

Topside.

Beware to shield (pipe insulation from Lowes or Home Depot) them from any canvas cover wearing down your color custom anodiz-ation....

I was on the fence on this for a bit. Both look good, but in the end I think I like topside.

With those rails, I voted topside. If you could get some shorter one and maybe angle them 45* or so, I think on the inside would look good.

I like 'em topside as well. They kinda look like they are sitting in the wrong place on the inside.

I would mount them inside, at a 45 degree angle just in front of the bow seat, rather than horizontally as you have them in your picture. Also, if you did mount them as I said, I would only have them about half as long as they currently are.

If you are committed to the ones you show, then mount them topside.

Topside, and along with what CM suggested; another short set inside. So have a set both places.

Another vote for topside and inside. I like the rails and they are functional.
