Good info here guys. I plan to do an oil analysis on my new engine after this summer. Always a good idea.

Replace plugs, cap, rotor
Replace fuel filter
Clean pcv valve
Check ignition timing
Run a heavy dose of cleaner thru the fuel system/ ensure good injector pattern (Although it hasn't been run through the system yet)


Deep, I used brake cleaner on my factory arrestors...sprayed fronm the inside out.
On the scan tool, I'm not sure where you could pick one up...maybe a dealer??? My Seloc and Clymer manuals show how to check a few of the sensors with a VOM.
