The new boat we are buying has one busted rear light. I figured since I am replacing that anyway, why not replace them with LED lights. Can I just use the existing and splice the new lights in or do I need to rewire the trailer?
Ok not all that stuff but the two rear lights will cost you $50.00 the light bar can be picked up for around $25.00 and each marker lights I have seen for around 5-7 smackers each. So, yeah, what you said around $90.00

If you're buying online $90.00 sounds about right for all the lights once you add in shipping. $50 or so for just the set of tail/turn lights. If you go so far as to get the kit with all the wires you might just as well replace the wiring too. It will only add about 15 minutes to the total job.
Whats sad is all the spare bulbs I have and have never used for the boat I'm selling...but I think I too will go LED on the next trailer.
When I replace this set, hopefully not soon, I will go to LED. I think they are brighter, and with multiple led's in each you can loose one or two and still have light on that side.
